Hopefully you found your way to the forum. Sorry you have to be here. This is a great place for you to get the encouragement you seek.
First of all, your inlaws are crazy haha. They obviously have issues and they’ve had them long before you popped up on the scene. Second, kudos to your new husband for moving forward and having your back.
Know this, your MIL or FIL may never truly accept you or like you and that’s ok as long as the two of you DO NOT let her/them into your lives and run things. This is a world wide thing, not a “white” thing. IL’s from hell are global, haha. You’re not alone and I send best wishes to you and your new husband.
IL’s will run amok and create havoc, it’s just how it is. Love on your sweet man, he loves you. You two are all that matter. Handle this now and establish boundaries before if and when the babies start to enter this world. Good luck
