Regarding scholarship post

Postby Hiddenjem » Sun Jun 11, 2017 11:08 am

I misunderstood. She was so excited when she told me that she left out a part.

Daughter actually won two different scholarships at her college!

I just read the letter. One is toward books and fees from being nominated as a deserving student in work study. The other is from donors to the school toward classes.

Also, good for DD for going for those scholarships. It says a lot about her blossoming self confidence and her willingness to take a chance on herself.

That's great! Congratulations to both of you! :D

I am sure it is satisfying to reap the benefits of DD's hard work and a relief to get additional financing to offset the significant cost of higher education!
